She worked for Bangor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Mount Hope Nursing Center, Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center and Eastern Maine Medical Center over the years. Arva and Waldo were members of the Gideons International, Bangor Camp and members of Calvary Baptist Church, Brewer for more than 40 years. She is survived by her four children; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, Mary Stuart of Brewer, Sarah Sedgwick and husband, Kevin, of Holden, Waldo and wife, Beth, of Newburgh, and Wesley and wife, Julianne, of Hampden; grandchildren, Angela Allen and husband, Craig, of Brewer and their children, Ezra and Caleb, Rebecca Velissariou and husband, Kosta, and their children, Tony and Niko, of Fuquay Varina, NC, Dillan Hesseltine and wife, Jenny, of Standish, Hollie Fleming and husband, Zachary, of Lincoln, Lora Archer and Joshua Nason of Presque Isle, Jakob Archer of Bangor, Kali Archer of Caribou and Reilly Hesseltine of Bangor.; also surviving her is a sister, Mary 'Sue' Michaud of Bangor.
