Mr. Marckoon was born in Glastonbury, Conn. February 8, 1901, the son of Peter and Anna (Hewisatt) Marckoon. He was a navy veteran of World War I and belonged to Hancock Lodge 4, AF and AM, and was a member of the IOOF, the Castine Grange and the American Legion post in Castine. He was a superintendent of the Castine Water Company. She lived in Crowell, Tex., for many years and came to California in 1920 from Stanton, Tex. Two years ago she moved to Pomona from Los Angeles. Mrs. Klepper was a member of the Christian Church in Crowell. She is survived by a son, Sheldon W.
