She was a member of Zion's (Reed's) Lutheran church, of Stouchsburg, where the interment will be made." Wiest, 80, of Klingerstown, a retired farmer, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Pottsville Hospital, where he was a patient for the past four days. Mr. Wiest was a life-long resident of Klingerstown. He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown and the Klingerstown Fire Company. Born in Klingerstown, April 2, 1895, he was a son of the late Sylvester and Isabelle Lesher Wiest. His wife, the former Maudie Klinger died in 1960. A daughter, Mrs. Daisy Miller died In 1966. Survivors are the following children, Mrs. Tillie Williard, Charles Wiest and Billy Wiest, all of Klingerstown, Harry Wiest of Dornsife RD and James Wiest of Lykens; 19 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Klinger of Lykens and Mrs. Nola Martz of Lebanon. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday In St. Michael's Lutheran Church. Klingerstown, with the Rev. Robert Eastlack officiating. Bunal will be in the adjoining church cemetery."
