He was employed by the American Can Company and retired last year. He was a member of Fideliah Rebekah Lodge of Lubec, Eastern Lodge I. O. O. .F of Lubec; past district deputy grand master of Grand Lodge I. O. O. F. of Maine; a member of Victory Encampment of East Machias; and a member of the Parkinson-Vose Post V. F. W. of Lubec. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Edith (Ramsdell) Bridges of Lubec; three daughters, Mrs. Ina Olson, Mrs. Mildred Wilcox, and Mrs. Mary Blake, all of Lubec; two sons, Guy Bridges of Lubec, and Clifton Bridges of Simsbury, Conn.; one half-brother, Orris Bridges of Calais; 20 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p m at the Christian Temple Church with the Rev. Donald Stockford officiating. Burial will be in the Olson Cemetery."
