He had one son with Sarah Elizabeth Olmstead on January 19, 1674. He died on October 17, 1681, at the age of 42. Sarah Elizabeth Olmstead was born on November 20, 1642, in Wethersfield, Connecticut . . . . She died on October 17, 1681, in her hometown, at the age of 38." Did Samiel and Sarah actually die on the same day?

Armold, died Tuesday morning in Mansfield General Hospital following a two year illness. Mrs. Armold was born May 27, 1886 in Waltham, Mass. For many years she was associated with her husband as a chiropractor in Armold and Armold Chiropractors. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Thursday Art Club and the Cottage Garden Club. Surviving are one son, Richard Dean Armold of Chagrin Falls, and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bebout of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Margaret Eichel of Decatur, Illinois." Flossie is daughter of John Jay Dean (1861-1954) and Rilda Ferguson (1859-1940). Flossie and Glenn r. Mansfield, OH.

[213] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 11 May 1909, p. 12: "Mrs. Susan Kenniston died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. Thomas Laughlin, 49 Charles street, at the age of 72 years after an illness of but three days with pneumonia. Mrs. Kcnniston's home is in Amherst and she was visiting her daughter here when she became ill. The deceased leaves two sons, Seth and Ernest K., of Amherst; and three sisters, Mrs. Lenora Jordan of Amherst, Mrs. Evelyn Bragg of Concord, N. H., and Mrs. Mabel Laughlin of Bangor." Susan descended from many royal lines; her Forester ancestors were knights at Bamburgh Castle in northern England. The 6 June 1900 federal census of Amherst, ME lists Susan H. Kenniston, mother, b. April 1838 in ME with her husband in the household of their son, Ernest. Susan's death record is reproduced in "Maine Death Records, 1617-1922" indicating her parents are George Foster (b. in Amherst) and Eunice Stanwood (b. in Eden [now Bar Harbor], ME and listing her as widow of Joseph Kenniston.
