She was born July 25, 1944, in Elkhart to Raymond G. Buck and Loween (Fisher) Shanholt. On July 25, 1964, she married her husband of 49 years, William R. Bill Edwards. He survives her at home. Other survivors include two daughters, Suzanne (Mike) Stajkowski of Noblesville and Jennifer (Shannon) Callaway of Elkhart; brother David (Bonnie) Shanholt of Elkhart; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Sherry was a graduate of Elkhart High School. She was a loving homemaker for more than 49 years. She was a member of Ladies of the Moose Lodge 599 in Elkhart. Sherry often enjoyed playing bingo and loved working in her flower garden."
