Neifert, 74, Quakake, a retired car inspectorfor the Reading Railroad, died this morning at 9 o'clock at the State Hospital, where he had been patient for three weeks. A life-long resident of Quakake, he was born December 25, 1882, and was a son of the late Frank and Mary Jane (Billig) Neifert. The deceased was a member of Christ Reformed Church, Rush Township; the Red Men Lodge of Tamaqua; the Fraternal Patriotic Order of Americans, No. 217, Quakake, and the Quakake Fire Co. His wife, the former Mayme Fritz, died in 1941. Surviving are the following children: Pearl, wife of Raymond Hillegan, and Edith, wife of Arthur Walter, Quakake; Leonard, Park Crest; Robert, Tamaqua; and Forest, Allen Park, Mich. He also is survived by a brother, Dewey, Quakake, and 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren."

Main st., after an illness of several months. A retired carpenter and farmer, Mr. Ritzman was a native of Uniontown. He and his wife, Sarah, had celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in November. He was a member of the Munroe Falls Methodist Church. Mr. Ritzman also leaves one other daughter, Mrs. Floyd Moody of the residence; brother, Samuel of Miami, Fla.; sister, Mrs. Lilly DeWalt of Uniontown; two grandsons.
