Mr. George Freeman Sanborn, Jr. is a highly respected genealogist, the Director of Library Operations at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston... He has been writing a continuing series of articles on the descendants of Thomas(1) Caswell who came to the American Colonies in the early 1630s and settled in Taunton, Massachusetts, and whose descendants intermarried with the descendants of `The Mayflower'...."
