[54703] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 1 August 1966, p. 22: "Waterville - Loren A. Strout, 68, of Upper Darby, Pa., died at a local hospital Saturday evening after a long illness. He was boro at Lagrange Nov. 22, 1897, son of Aumandall and Harriet (Butler) Strout. Prior to his retirement in 1962 he had been a machinist at the Yertol-Boeing Aircraft Co. and was a member of the Robert Bringhurst Lodge of Masons in Philadelphia, Pa. and the Grace Lutheran Church in Norristown, Pa. Survivors include his widow, Florence Strout of Upper Darby, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. William Schoettle of Upper Darby, Mrs. Robert Riley of Missoula, Mont. and Miss Florence Strout of Philadelphia, Pa.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Boyd Funeral Home in Norristown, Pa."
