Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Harry W., two grandchildren, Jean and June Kennedy, all of Lucknow; two brothers, George and Harry Arnold, both of Newport, R. D and three sisters, Mrs. Hettie Shade, Newport, R. D ; Mrs. Kathryn Kinser, Ickesbnrg, and Mrs. Ethel Gessner, Elizabethville, R. D. Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. Walter Bowers, Rockville United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Shoop's Church Cemetery."

[26413] "The Perry County Democrat, 17 November 1920," p. 3: "Jacob Loy, a well known and lifelong citizen of this vicinity, died at his home in this place Thursday evening about 6 o'clock after two days' illness, his death resulting from a complication of diseases. Mr. Loy was a son of the late Geo. M. and Lydia Anne (Bower) Loy and was born March 19, 1850, and at the time of his death was aged 70 years, 7 months and 22 days. Mr. Loy was married to Sarah C. Wentzel, daughter of the late Daniel and Catharine (Campbell) Wentzel, December 26, 1876. He is survived by his wife and one brother, William H. Loy, of Cisna Run, and one sister, Miss Mary B. Loy, of Loysville. Three sisters preceded him in death, namely, Mrs. William Woods, Mrs. Thomas Martin and Miss Emma Loy. At an early age he connected with the Lutheran church at St. Paul's and was a faithful attendant at divine service. The funeral was held Monday at 1 p. m. from the home of the deceased, services being conducted by his pastor, Rev. G. R. Heim. Burial was made at Mt. Zion's cemetery."
