His will was probated on 30 June 1752."

Ancestry.com states Trexler is a variation of Dressler and offers: "Dressler Name Meaning - German and Jewish (Ashkenazic): occupational name for a turner, from Middle High German dreseler or dræselære (formed by the addition of a superfluous agent suffix to Old High German drasil turner, a primary derivative of draen turn, spin). A turner would make small objects not just from wood, but also from bone, ivory, and amber, all of which were widely used in the Middle Ages for their decorative value."

(There is no written record of where Maria Elizabeth is buried. Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Stouchsburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania is an assumption because her husband was a charter member and deacon of this congregation and they lived in this area. The index, though, for the Christ Church Cemetery Book by The Tulpehocken Settlement Historical Society indicate a different Maria buried here. No tombstone can be found although there are others of her family buried here.)"
