Graber, 75, of the Barberton-Alliance rd, died Sunday evening in his residence. He was born in Wayne county and had resided the past 15 years in the Hartville vicinity. He was a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed church in Hartville. Mr. Graber was a retired employe of the Timken Roller Bearing Co. in Canton, where he served more than 30 years as a blacksmith. He also was a member of the Timken Old Guard club. Mr. Graber is survived by His widow, Mrs. Zua Graber; two sons, Clarence A. and Ralph A. Graber of Canton; four daughters, Mrs. Esther Andrews of Greentown, Mrs. Martha Wassem and Mrs. Marie Markel of Canton, and Mrs. Dorothy Young, at home; two half-brothers, Alfred Arney of Apple Creek and John Arney of Dalton; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Boydelatour of Canton, Mrs. Minnie Brown of Apple Creek, Mrs. Clara Herman and Mrs. Mollie Johnson of Massillon; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. in the Christ Evangelical and Reformed church in Hartville. The Rev. C. C. Huprich, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Mount Peace cemetery in Hartville.

[34583] This person is from the unverified Henrichsen Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2013 which states Isaac m. in 1780 in Greenbriar Rebecca Collins (b. 1760 in Greenbrier, d. in 1806 in Locust Creek, VA). A note in Ancestry.com offers: "From his Rev War pension claim packet: Isaac Hawk was born at Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia, on August 13, 1759, and while living in Hampshire County, Virginia, volunteered March 1, 1777 under Captain Moses Hutton, was stationed at the fort at Wheeling under the command of General Hand and was discharged Sept 1, 1777. On August 10, 1781, he was commissioned Ensign in the Hampshire County, Virginia Militia and on October 8, 1782 he served as Ensign in Captain George Bell's Company, Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Nevell's Regiment of Militia, which guarded the commissioners appointed to run the line between the states of Virginia and Pennsylvania and he was discharged November 10, 1782. He lived in Hampshire County, Virginia, until 1794 when he moved to Bath County, Virginia, which was later called Pocahontas County, and he was still living in Pocahontas Count, Virginia, when he was allowed pension on his application executed Sept 3, 1833. Isaac also states his only proof of his birth date is an entry in his father's Bible, that he wasn't in any 'engagements' during his service, but that two of his friends were shot by Indians as he stood a few paces from them."

The Pennsylvania 1910 Miracode Index lists him as head of household with wife Laura E. (age 38) and father, Conrad S. (age 70), along with children James (13), Margaret (9), Florence (8), Conrad (6), Edward (5), Alvin (2) and Sarah (NR). The 2 Jan 1920 federal census of Saville Twp., Perry Co. shows the family: Elmer E. (age 59), Laura (49), Bertha (27), James (21), Margaret (19), Clarence (18), Conrad (16), Edward (13), Albert (12), Sarah (10) and Elmer (8). Elmer E. The 1930 census of this family lists children Alvin [sic] (age 22) and Elmer (20).
