[1865] She is said to be daughter of Ricomer de Bourgogne. http://www.art-science.com/Ken/Genealogy/PD/ch46_Clovis.html states "Agivald, Duke of Bavaria, was an ancestor of both Charlemange's wife, through his son Garibald, who was only one of the husbands of Walrada of Lombardy & was of the Toulouse connexion, which criss-crosses with the Gascon dukes lines. This was through his other son Theodebald, who's daughter Gertrude founded the convent at Hamage near Douai & became the first abbess, which did not prevent her having children by Ricomer de Bourgogne (Bertrude, who married Clothaire II...) & after he died, by her toy-boy Sandregisisle. Their daughter Nanthild was the cousin & second wife of the powerful Dagobert I (who was the son of Clothaire II...)' Cf. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertrude.

[7426] Susan is daughter of William Moose and Rebecca Baltosser. William Moose (age 64) and wife Rebecca (age 62) were farming in Madison Twp., Perry Co., PA at the time of the 1880 census, and in their household were son Solomon (32, farmer), daughter Sarah C. (26) and son WIlliam Scott (21). William is son of Jonathan Moose according to the unverified IGI files. "The Perry County Democrat [New Bloomfield, PA], 8 May 1901," p. 3: "No recent death has caused greater heart felt grief among so large a circle of friends than that of Mrs. George S. Briner, which occurred last Saturday morning at her home in Carlisle, Pa. During her illness her naturally patient and cheerful disposition brightened her sick room. She was never heard to murmur or complain; she maintained a submissive mind until the closing moments of her life, when she fell asleep to wake no more in this world. It almost seems to her sorrowing friends as if she was called away too soon, but we know "He doeth all things well." As a friend and neighbor she was kind, generous and amiable in disposition. Nowhere did she shine with richer splendor than in her home. There she found her highest mission in true affection to her family. It is no wonder that in her death they feel the light has gone out of their home and that they are alone in their deep affliction. Mrs. Susan B. Briner was born near Andersonburg, Perry county, October 11, 1846, and died in Carlisle, May 4, 1901 aged 51 years, 6 months and 23 days. She was the second daughter ot William and Rebecca Moose. Both have preceded her to the spirit world. The deceased was member of the Lutheran church ever since she was 18 years of age. At the time of her death she was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran church, of Carlisle, She was married to George S. Briner, Esq., of New Germantown, January 27, 1876. To this happy union were born seven children. Two daughters, Laura, aged five, and an infant, both having preceded her to the grave. Those living are: Mary R., George M., W. Grier, J. Frank and Charlie, aged eleven, all at home. A brother, W. Scott Moose, of Cisna Run and two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Roth, of Blain, and Mrs. Samuel Baltosser, of West Unity, O., also survive."
