He was a retired farmer and a former employee of Seal Glove Co., Millersburg. Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Engle; three sons, Harold D. of Millersburg, Herbert R. of Gratz and Donald E. of Elizabethville; two daughters, June R. Snyder of Millersburg RD and Sandra I. Reitz of Dalmatia RD; a brother, Robert L. of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Sara J. Bressler of Hegins RD; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
