[12162] Sir William was "of Huntingfield." http://www.geneajourney.com/hntgfld.html reports "In Oct 1257, his mother Joan purchased the wardship of his lands. She was evidently "aggrieved with debt" and in 1258, by notice of the King, the tenants of Roger de Huntingfield, deceased, were requested to "make a competent aid to Joan, late his wife". Roger took part against the King in the Barons War, but was pardoned in Jul 1267. He was summoned for military service from 6 Mar 1263/64 to 14 Jun 1287, and to attend the King at Shrewsbury 28 Jun 1283. He married Emma, daughter of John de Grey by his first wife, Emma, daughter of Geoffrey de Glanville and sister and coheir of another Geoffrey de Glanville. She predeceased him." She was born July 21, 1932, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Geraldine (Salisbury) and John Henry Fox Sr. She was most recently employed for 18 years at Sterling Net & Twine Company after eight years at Key Bank and 25 years at Strattons. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Trenton PTC and served on the Trenton Scholarship Committee for many years. Alice is survived by three daughters, Sharon Farnsworth and her husband, Peter of Stratton, Patricia Howard and her husband, Bill of Trenton and Mary Gordius and her husband, Brian of Bass Harbor; two brothers, John Fox and his wife, Reta of Ellsworth and Arthur Fox and his wife, Hazel of Trenton; two sisters, Mary Kelley of Trenton and Sylvia Moon and her husband, Rodney of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua, Katherine, Jason, Jaime, Corey and Kayla; special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dana Fox; and a niece, Cynthia DeMeyer Smith." Alice is daughter of John H. Fox (1904-1984) & Geraldine Salisbury (1907-1992; m. 18 April 1926).

With love and thanks to our mother, grandmother, great-grandma, and aunt, we said goodbye to Hazel as she went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Oct. 15, 2003, surrounded by family and sunshine. Hazel's internal and external sunshine, her always-upbeat disposition, and her love for her family will forever remain a lasting legacy for those left behind. Preceded in death by husband, Paul, in 1992, and grandson, Jeffrey. Hazel is survived by daughters, Gloria (Jim) Horning of Kent and Marilyn Barnett of Key West, Fla.; grandchildren, Dr. Debra Flynn (Lynn) Jason and Matthew, Mark (Cindy) Ryan, Steven, and Sarah, Brian (Sharon) Kate and Annie, Greg (Melanie) Andrew, Marissa, and Nick, Kim (David) Stephanie, Amanda, and Alex, Melanie (Jeff) Renee and Jaret, Steven (Judy) Amy, Amanda, and Adam, Matt (Mary Lou) Derek and Brandon; sister-in-law, Dorthy; and many other friends and relatives who were touched by Hazel's loving ways.
