Find A Grave memorial 170950437 offers from the "San Bernardino Sun, 3 February 1938, p 16: "City Studio Opened By Foster Willhide. Foster Willhide, talented San Bernardino violinist, opened a studio this week at .the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Willhide, at 691 Eighth street. Mr. Willhide has had 14 years experience, having studied with Joseph Halimicek of San Francisco, Miles Drcskell of San Jose State Teachers coUege, and W. C. Winslow of San Bernardino. Representing the junior college, where he received additional training from Karel B. Shultis, Mr. Willhide played in the All Southern California Symphony orchestra at Santa Barbara, composed of outstanding musicians from universities and junior colleges. At the senior high school and at junior college, he has taken part in numerous musical productions and played with the San Bernardino symphony orchestra, as well as on radio programs. In addition to his studio work in San Bernardino, Mr. Willhide is teaching a class of 12 students from Victorville and Barstow. A first recital is planned for March." While a Tech Sgt. in the U. S.
