Born May 13, 1923, in Ontario, she was the daughter of Albert and Pansy Viola Rutter Danals. Mrs. Briner retired from the Ontario School System. She was a member of the Ontario United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. Surviving are her husband, George W. Briner; a son, Thomas Melanie Briner of Ontario; a daughter, Loraine Rose of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren, Brittani Briner of Ontario, Dawn Huffman of Johnsville and Adam Ramey of Mt. Vernon; two great grandchildren, Joseph and Darian Schoonover; two brothers, Dick Danals of Colorado and Wilbur Danals of Perrysville; three sisters, Pansy Danals Tucker of Ft. Scott, KS, Linda Danals Clark and Zelda Danals Thomas both of Pinellas Park, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Albert, Everett and Wayne Danals; and three sisters, Mary Patton, Jacqueline Wilson and Orthella Danals."
[28163] "The Ancestry of Dudley Wildes" in "Massachusetts and Maine Families, Vol. 1," p. 437, offers: ". . . the first record of him is on March 4, 1634/5, when he was sworn Freeman of the Massachusetts Bay Colony at Boston. Whether he married his wife Ellen in England or in America is not known. To either him or her, George Hadley of Rowley stood in the relationship of brother, in one of its degrees, and likewise Daniel Bradley was their cousin (nephew). . . . Dorman had a grant of four acres of meadow in Ipswich and he had also an unrecorded grant of a house lot in the village, on which he built . . . He was a commoner of Ipswich in 1641. . . . He served on the country trial jury in 1657, 1658, 1659 and 1660. . . . Ellen Dorman died February 27, 1667/8." His will left to son Ephraim "my ring, three blankets, two little pots, a trammel, two draft chains and one share of the household stuff."
