[44293] "The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, PA], 28 May 1902," p. 2: "On Tuesday Lepley Wisehaupt of Turbett township, an influential man in his home locality, was killed while superintending the felling of trees in his forest. He left his work to go to a near by spring and immediately came back to his men. A tree which the workmen had recently cut down fell into an adjacent tree and soon left go its bearings, falling to the ground and striking Mr. Wisehaupt inflicting injuries which resulted in his death a short time afterwards."
