[43697] "The Perry County Democrat [Bloonfield, PA], 20 March 1918," p. 3: "Mrs. Thomas Owen, of Wheatfield township, died in the Harrrisburg hospital on Sunday morning about 10.15 following an operation for gall stones on the previous Tuesday. Mrs. Owen seemed to be getting along nicely after the operation but on Saturday night she grew rapidly worse and Mr. Owen was sent for. She had been sick about fifteen weeks. She was aged 39 years and 9 days. Mrs. Owen was a daughter of T. W. Tressler and wife, of Juniata township. Her mother died about two months ago. On October 22, 1903 she was married to Thomas J. Owen, of Wheatfield township . . . "
