[57000] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 2 May 2023: "Bangor - Bryden Gardner, 90, died April 29, 2023, at the Maine Veteran's Home, Bangor. He was born in Allagash, April 17, 1933, the son of Lee Gardner Sr. and Pearl (McBreirty) Gardner. Bryden moved to the Bangor area during his teens. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, 1953 to 1955. Upon his return he met his wife, Mary (Leighton) Gardner, who predeceased him. They made their home in the Bangor area where they raised their 4 children, Janet Lynn Hargus, Bryden Alan Gardner and wife, Susan, Vicki Marie Gardner, and Randy Scott Gardner and wife, Laura; 3 grandchildren, Molly Alexander, Bryden Aaron Gardner and Nicole Frost; and 9 great-grandchildren. Bryden was one of 14 siblings and is survived by, Roy Gardner of Allagash, Thomas Gardner of Corinth, Lucinda Crawford of Bangor, and Phyllis Craig of Brewer."
