She was born at Deer Isle, Maine on July 13, 1941 the daughter of Wolcott and Annie (Haskell) Hardie. She grew up and received her education on Deer Isle. She was married to Darrell Lee Hadden in 1975 at Miami, Oklahoma and they made their home in Bartlesville. Mrs. Hadden had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in local hospitals and nursing homes until her retirement. She then continued to volunteer her time at the Green Country Free Clinic. Mr. Hadden preceded her in death on January 18, 1999 and she has continued her home here since that time. Mrs. Hadden is survived by four children, Susan Oliver and husband Brent of Deer Isle, Maine, Ronald Beckman of Bartlesville, Audrey Capps and husband Roy of Finley, Oklahoma and Carlene King and husband Chris of Bartlesville, two sisters, Estelle Snowden of Bartlesville and Verona Stevens of Brooklyn, Maine, two brothers, Reynold Hardie of Deer Isle, Maine and Edward Hardie of Orland, Maine, two grandchildren, Hollan Oliver and Eric King, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The deceased was in his 74th year. He leaves a wife and three children, Adam Stilwagon, and Mrs. William Stiltz both of this city and Mrs. Brubaker, who resides near Lucas. Funeral at 8:30 Friday morning. Regular services conducted at the Evangelical church, southeast of town."
