Beal; daughter, Joan Marie Beal; granddaughter, Lisa Marie Dow and her fiancé, Philip Kilton: an adopted son, Mario Argentino; sister-in-law, Eleanor Libby, many nieces and nephews, his beloved church family, and lots of very close friends. He loved his family dearly and was always trying to make life easier for them, often working long hours to provide for their needs and give them a good life. He had great wisdom and understanding passing it on to his family and friends, always available whenever anyone needed his help. He gave willingly and freely of his time and resources. Elmer was a faithful member of Beals Wesleyan Church for 53 years, where he served on the church board, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and often sang duets with his wife, Marion and daughter, Joan as well as other good friends. He often led the Sunday services as well as the weekly prayer meetings. He devoted his life to serving the Lord and was dedicated to his church. He enjoyed the fellowship of his church family and loved them very much. He was a mentor for many new members always encouraging and praising them for their accomplishments. He will be greatly missed in the Beals Wesleyan Church as well as the community. His lifetime career was lobster fishing and he fished for 72 years. He spent two years in U.S. Navy and was stationed on the Franklin D. Roosevelt."
