This web site also offers: "He was to provide maintenance for his parents in exchange for a land grant from his father Capt. Joseph Babson (17) on 11 Aug 1791. On 20 Dec 1802 'John Bapson of Sedgwick*Mariner', mortgaged to his brother 'Joseph Bapson of Newbury Port' 50 acres with one dwelling house and barn located at Sedgwick and bounded on the northeast side by Edgemongan [sic] Reach for $500. On the same day they also quitclaimed to Samuel Brown, Jr. 'all the Estate both real and personal to which the said Emma was is or shall be entitled as Sister & heir to Israel Brown late of Bluehill'. On 7 Mar 1823 John 'of Sedgwick, yeoman' sold to his son-in-law Daniel Abbott and Rufus K. Porter, merchants, about one acre of land on the shore, adjacent to land now or lately owned by Abraham Babson, including the wharf and store. Three weeks later, on 28 March 1823 John Babson 'of Sedgwick, mariner' sold to Nehemiah Allen for $185 land next to the property formerly owned by Abraham Babson where his wharf and store were. John and his sons were remembered in Nancy (Tapley) Babson's 1883 poem Lines written in memory of the Babsons."

[23933] http://www.theroyfamily.com/gen/roy/p15.htm reports "Phillip Hatch immigrated on 13 February 1636/37 to Richmond Island, now Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland County, Maine, on board the 'Hercles'. Phillip was a fisherman. In 1638, he was living with John Winter, when John and Trelawny mowed the marsh grass on both sides of the Swurrumke river at Spurwink. On 23 November 1648, the purchased a house in York, Maine from George Parker. He served in 1663 as a Constable. On 18 July 1663, he had to morgage his house to Major Pendleton." http://www.angelfire.com/folk/philiphatch/Children.html offers: "Philip Hatch was baptised 28 December 1616 at Newton Ferrers, Devon, England, the sixth of eight children born to John and Anne (_) Hatch. He was an apprentice to Nicholas Ball when he sailed with his brother Charles on the ship Hercules bound for Richmond Island (now Cape Elizabeth, Maine). They arrived in November, 1636 and worked as fishermen and harvesters. Philips apprenticeship ended in 1642 when he was finally able to pay off his debts to Robert Trelawny. In 1648 he purchased a dwelling house and land in York, Maine from George Parker. The house was located in the lower part of town near the sea. At about this time he married Patience, daughter of Robert and Florence (-) Edge of York, although no record of their marriage has been found. Being quite active in town affairs, he signed the submission to Massachusetts in 1652 and a petition supporting Cromwells government in 1655. The town of York granted him land in 1655 plus ten additional acres on Alcocks neck in 1659. He was a member of various juries in 1650, 1651, and 1665 and became town constable in 1663. Financial difficulties forced him to mortgage his house and five acres of land between 1663 and 1668. Philip died between 4 July 1671 when he acknowleged a judgement against him, and 24 Jun 1674 when his widow Patience acknowledged a deed transferring Philips house and two acres of land in York to Jasper Pullman. Soon thereafter, Patience married Edward Wolcott. Children of Philip and Patience (Edge) Hatch: (1) Francis. (2) Philip. Born about 1651. (3) Benjamin. His estate was administered by his brother Samuel 21 February 1689/90. (4) Samuel. Born about 1660. He married (1) Mary Littlefield around 1684 and (2) Lydia (-) about 1723. He died before 3 February 1741/2 when his will was proved. He is the only child of Philips who left descendants. (5) Patience. Married Joshua Downing. (6) Elizabeth. Married Baker Nason.
