[36728] This person is from the unverified Wright Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2014. "Garrett Clipper [Garrett, Indiana], 5 October 1931," p. 5: "When dynamite he intended to use for blasting a large rock on his farm exploded prematurely, Henry A. Dickes, an Allen county farmer, was blown to pieces Friday afternoon. His son Fred heard the explosion and hurried to the scene, where he found his father's mangled body. No one saw the accident. Mr. Dickes and his son had spent the day in the orchard picking apples, and while at work noticed a large rock which they decided to blow out of the ground and haul away. Dickes and his son started together to the field to blast the rock. Fred went to a barn to get a horse, while his father, carrying a shovel, dynamite and fuse, continued on to the field. Dickes was carrying the dynamite already capped and fused, ready to be placed in a hole beside the rock. The explosion mangled the man's body, and seemed centered just below the chest on the right side, indicating that he was still carrying the explosive or had fallen with it under him when it exploded. He was still some distance from the rock when the explosion occurred."
