[4762] William (III) married Mary Orrick in 1726; Mary is daughter of James Orrick and wife Priscilla Ruley (who received by will from her father Anthony Ruley of South River in 1710 the tract known as "Beetenson's Adventure" on the South River; James Orrick willed 1/3 of his estate to Mary, wife of William Ridgely. Priscilla (nee Ruley) Orrick remarried Abraham Woodward, son of William Woodward of London, England, and their son William Woodward married Alice Ridgely, sister of William Ridgely, III. William (III) left a will dated 1768, probated in 1780, which leaves 1/3 of the estate to his wife, Mary, and leaves to sons John, Henry and Greenberry four tracts of land known as "Ridgely's Chance," "Spanish Oak," "Good Luck," and "Piney Grove."
