Mr. Rice was born in Perry County, Pa. and lived in Akron over 60 years. He retired from B. F. Goodrich Co. in 1957 with over 40 years service. He was a member of the Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. He was a member of Goodyear 20 year Club. He is survived by wife, Grace I.; sister, Mrs. George Knode, of Calif.; nieces and nephews. William's draft registration states he was born in James Creek, Huntingdon Co., PA.
