[57506] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 23 April 2005: "Greenville - Carol Velma (Leighton) Budden, 72, died April 21, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital, following a long illness. She was born March 17, 1933, in Willimantic, the daughter of Lynwood and Ella (Preble) Leighton. She was a graduate of Guilford High School, Class of 1950, and Husson College, Class of 1953. She taught school at Greenville High School for three years and at a one room schoolhouse in Rockwood for 13 years. She grew up in Willimantic and then lived all of her married life in Greenville. She was a member of the Moosehead Arts and Theater Society and for many years ran a craft shop 'Wee Create It' from her home. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lawrence Budden of Greenville; two sons, Edwin Budden, who is on a tour of duty in the Air Force in South Korea, and his wife, Dallas, of Alaska, and Dale Budden of Greenville; a brother, Milton Leighton and his wife, Barbara, of Florham Park, N.J.; two sisters, Ruth Dauphinee and her husband, William, of Willimantic, and Diane Bonsey, and her husband, Ernest, of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother-in-law, Roy Fairbrother of Guilford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Fairbrother."

[23752] In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands offers: "Etienne [I] 'Tête-Hardi' (-murdered Ascalon 27 May 1102). He and his brothers Raimond and Hugues called themselves sons of the 'most noble count William' in a late-11th century document. He succeeded in [1087] as Comte de Mâcon, Seigneur de Varasque. He was regent of Bourgogne-Comté during the absence of his older brother on the First Crusade. He himself joined the Crusade some time after the death of his brother. He commanded troops with Etienne Comte de Blois; they were defeated by the Turks at Marsivam. William of Tyre records the presence at the second capture of Tortosa in 1102 of 'Stephanus comes Burgundiæ'. Albert of Aix records that he was captured at Ramla and beheaded. - m ([1090]) Beatrix de Lorraine, daughter of Gerard IV Duke of Upper Lotharingia [Lorraine] & his wife Hadwide _____ (-[1116/17]). 'Stephanus comes Burgundie et dominus de Treva' donated property to Cluny by charter dated [1100] in which he refers to his wife as 'filia ducis Lotharingie' but does not name her. The primary source which names her has not yet been identified."
