They had five children during their marriage. She died in 1649 in Southampton, New York, at the age of 50, and was buried there."

Leofwine was known as earldorman of the Hwiccas and in 1017 was Earl of Mercia. Another proposed ancestry shows Leofwine as son of Elfwina of Mercia (daughter of Edward I the Elder [ID1631] and Edgiva) and Edolf or Edulph (of Saxony?). Leofwine acceeded in 1017.
