Susannah m. (1) Stoffel Bower and (2) Jacob Hench (1761-1813). She had six children with Jacob Hench between 1792 and 1802 - he died in 1830. Stoffel Bower is also known as Christopher Bauer.
http://homepage.mac.com/feja66/tree/ps02/ps02_479.html offers:
Susannah and Jacob "had six children:
"Mary (Polly) Hench (1792-1869), married Peter Brackbill
"Nancy Hench (9/18/1794-11/25/1831), married Jacob Groninger, 1819
"John Hench (8/14/1796-4/14/1866) While a child, John moved with his parents from Perry County to Turbett Township in Juniata County. In 1824, he married Margaret Groninger, the daughter of Leonard Groninger, Jr. and Barbara May. They had nine children: Eliza Ann, Mary Jane, Martha Eleanor, John H., Stewart Turbett, Caroline E., Cyrus M., Margaretha B., and Sarah Malinda Hench. John died on April 14, 1866, and Margaret on March 28, 1893. They are buried in the Church Hill Cemetery.
"Zachariah Rice Hench (6/10/1798-5/19/1877) Zachariah was a carpenter and building contractor. With the help of his brothers, he built many large barns and bridges throughout the area, which were widely recognized for their craftsmanship and quality of construction. During the construction of a bridge across the Juniata River at Lewistown, a sudden flood destroyed the structure, washing it down the river. His losses were so great that Zachariah was never again able to bid on such large contracts. He married Eleanor Stevens in 1820.
"Peter Hench (7/27/1800-?) Peter operated a fulling mill at the foot of Tuscarora Mountain in south- western Turbett Township. Around 1830, he enlarged the mill and converted it into a foundry, for the manufacturing of farm implements. Peter was first married to Mary Stewart, who died giving birth to their child. He later married Sidney Strouse, daughter of Philip Strouse, and the widow of John McConnell.
"Abigail Hench (1802-1876), Married Armstrong Calhoun, 1827

"Flickinger Family History," 1927, reports "Susan was six in 1777 when Gen. Washington, calling at their home in Chester County, Pa., lifted her in an appreciative way to his knee."

John, the faithful pastor of the Pilgrims of Plymouth Rock, was one of the most remarkable men that Gloucester ever produced - of great strength and personal courage. He was a ship-master and builder of vessels - built the first schooner-rigged vessel, and gave that name to that class of vessels. He constructed and rigged a vessel in the same manner as schooners are now rigged at this day. On her going off the stocks and passing into the water, a by-stander cried out, 'Oh! how she scoons !' Robinson instantly replied, 'A schooner let her be.' Since that time vessels thus masted and rigged have gone by the name 'schooners.' Before this, vessels of this description were not known in Europe or America. This was in 1713. He was Rep. in General Court 1738, 1739; d. 1742, leaving an estate of .£2,372. He m.
