[5454] On 12 May 1937, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, daughter of the Earl of Strathmore, was crowned queen alongside her husband King George VI. Elizabeth, who is the mother of the current queen and became popularly known as the Queen Mother, was brought up at Glamis Castle in Forfar. World War Two broke out two years after her coronation and Hitler called the queen 'the most dangerous woman in Europe' because of her popularity with the British public. Elizabeth reigned as queen until the death of her husband in 1952.

[28643] "The Morning Call [Allentown, Pennsylvania], 15 March 1920," p. 16: "Dr. Edward J. Freeman died on Saturday evening at 7.30 o'clock at his residence on MAIN street, Freemansburg, aged sixty-eight years. The cause of death was dropsy, with which Dr. Freeman had been ailing for two years. A native of Easton, Dr. Freeman in his early boyhood moved with his parents, the late Dr. George W. and Matilda (Seip) Freeman, to Freemansburg, where he received his early school training. Later he entered Schwartz's Academy, Bethlehem, and then Lehigh University, which he left In his Sophomore year to enter the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation from the latter institution with the class of 1873 he became associated with his father, who had a large practice in Freemansburg. Upon the death of his father In 1898 he retired from the medical profession to give his time and attention to his many other business interests. Dr. Freeman was formerly chief burgess of the borough of Freemansburg, and at other times served in the town council and school board. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, of which he was treasurer for many years and many times proved himself a benefactor to the congregation. He was married on May 24, 1877, to Emily J., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Knecht, of Shimersville. He leaves his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Robert S. Mueller, of Baltimore, Md., two grandchildren and a brother, Dr. Walter S. Freeman, of Philadelphia." The 19 July 1860 federal census at Freemansburg Borough, Northampton Co., PA shows Edward, age 8, in the household of George and Matilda Freeman.

Georgia: Mrs. Georgia Y. Palmer lived on Lowell Street in Portland, Maine from at least 1947 through 1955 (Portland City Directories). In 1954 she was named a Christian Science Practitioner.
