Saunders of Key Largo, Fla. and J. Warren Saunders of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Muriel) Arey of Bucksport and Mrs John (Joyce-Ann) Weidler of Rockport; one sister, Deila Bridges of Orland; 13 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandsons; several nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Lysle P. Saunders in 1956 and two infant sons."

Ginny was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, to George and Lena Mae Herzfeld on September 12, 1932. She attended schools in the town of Clinton, New York. Following graduation from Barrington College in Rhode Island, she married her college sweetheart Ivan Roy Hatch on September 7, 1957, in the town of Clinton, New York. They shared 56 years of married life and raised three sons, Tim, Dan, and Mark. Ginny shared ministry with Ivan with congregations in MA, NH, and Maine. The Hatchs retired to Scarborough in 2000, enjoying life near family and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. Ginny was a horsewoman and participated in equestrian competitions, winning awards in early adulthood. She enjoyed reading and learning and gained extensive knowledge of nutrition and natural health. As she was known to family, Grammy touched the lives of many individuals through her kind and thoughtful, genuine, and fierce love. She would want people looking back at her life to give God the glory, worship Him forever, and pray for His blessing and grace over those in need.
