Born in Bancroft December 15, 1885, he was the son of William A. and Rachel (Washburn) Irish. Mr. Irish was a retired farmer and woodsman. He was also employed for many years by the St. Regis paper company. He attended schools in Bancroft. He leaves seven sons, Donald and Kenneth of Wytopitlock, Elvin, Herschel and Blaine of Bancroft, Milo of Linneus, and Earlon of Bristol, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorris Thurston of Lowell, Mass.; a brother, Eldon of North Windham; two sisters, Mrs. Ini Jenkins and Mrs. Mini Reed of Wyopitlock; 37 grandchildren, three great-grand children and several nieces and nephews."

I was reaching to close my browser and your web page when I saw the
Isaac Kalbach in your K surname list. I had found the John Adam Kalbach
and Sarah Wenrich union by searching for variations on the Kalbach
spellings. I just stumbled across your Isaac Kalbach, who is more
closely related to me.
The Isaac Kalbach who married Elizabeth Bright/Brecht was a cousin of
the John Adam Kahlbach who married Sarah Wenrich. Their respective
fathers were brothers, and their Grandparents were Adam Kalbach and
Maria Eva Spang.
You have Isaac Kalbach married to Elizabeth Bright/Brecht. That
Particular Isaac is a brother of my 4Xgreat grandfather, Joseph Kalbach,
b.1813 - d.1899.
Untill I started this project late last year I only had my direct
lineage going up to Adam Kalbach and Maria Spang. I've collected and
been able to connect two other branches, as well as find the names of
and the spouses for many other of those first three generations.
