He is survived by hsi widow, Abbie Astbury of Sedgwick; five sons, James of Penobscot, Roger of Sedgwick, Virgil and Clayton of Blue Hill, Stephen of Alaska; two daughters, Miss Rose Astbury of here, Mrs. Gloria Tapley of West Sedgwick; three brothers, Arthur of Sedgwick, John of Ellsworth and Henry of Blue Hill; six sisters, Mrs. Amy Carlisle of Ellsworth, Mrs. Esther Parker of Blue Hill, Mrs. Katherine Caller of Medway, Mass., Mrs. Mabel Aderle of Dedham, Mass., Mrs. Ruth Gray of Sedgwick, Mrs. Lucy Gray of Randolph, Mass,; 21 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the South Penobscot Church with the Rev. John Blair officiating. Interment will be in Camp Stream Cemetery, West Sedgwick." James is son of Thomas E Astbury (1865-1953) & Katherine Audet (1872-1948).
