Betty L. Shakeley [betlus@earthlink.net] shared 31 Oct 1998 via email:
"He was also a member of the 'Prudential Committee', joining on 18 December 1740. He was a member till his death in 1741.
"Elijah Owen Sr. and Hannah Higley had the following children: 1. Rebecca Owen was born on 28 Nov 1736 in Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.; 2.
