He was born November 23, 1961, in Bangor, the son of Frank C. and Judith (Philbrick) Morgan. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Brewer High School and the University of Maine Orono with a degree in electrical engineering, class of 1984. After graduation he joined Harris RF as an electrical engineer, leading him to work oversees where he met his future wife, Annalee Menard, in Saudi Arabia. Returning to the U.S. shortly thereafter John led a long career in defense communications contracting for 38 years. He enjoyed the family camp at Beech Hill, telling stories, working outdoors, John Wayne movies, New England sports, family holidays, and the companionship of his dogs. John was predeceased by his beloved father, Frank; but survived by his mother, Judith and his brother, James, both of Brewer; John and his wife of 35 years, Annalee, of Phippsburg, shared four children: Brian, Kelly, Glen, and Mike; and one grandchild: Frank."
