This Sir William m. 28 Nov 1545 Elizabeth (d. 4 Nov 1576), daughter of John Paulet, Marquess of Winchester - they had Sir William Courtenay, third Earl of Devon and High Sheriff in 1581 (b. 1553, d. 24 June 1630).

[51118] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]. 6 January 2014": "Winter Harbor - Walter James Harrington, 88, died Jan. 3, 2014, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. He was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Winter Harbor, a son of Foster P. and Eva A. (Wescott) Harrington. Walter grew up in Winter Harbor and graduated from Winter Harbor High School in 1943. On Feb. 14, 1947, Walter married Gertrude E. Haycock in Ellsworth. She passed away November 2003. After working several jobs as a young man, he and his son, Gordon, formed Winter Harbor Carpenters and Builders in 1975. They worked together building homes for the next 25 years in the Winter Harbor and Gouldsboro area. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing and loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member and past master of Schoodic Grange, Winter Harbor Fire Department, selectman and the sexton of the Winter Harbor cemeteries. He is survived by his son and best friend, Gordon Harrington, and wife, Diana; granddaughters, Melissa Harrington, Tracey Hutchins and husband, Jeffery, all of Winter Harbor; great-grandchildren, Robert and Matthew Correia, and Alexis and Emilee Hutchins; sister, Grace Gerrish; several nieces and nephews; special great-nephew, Brendan and Kristen Rush; and special friend, Lawrence Cole. He was predeceased by his parents; wife of 56 years, Gertrude; four brothers; and three sisters."

He married Elizabeth Gregory in January 1622 in his hometown. They had 12 children in 31 years. He died on December 20, 1678, in Norwalk, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 78 years. Elizabeth Gregory was born in 1604 in Great Bentley, Essex, England. . . . . She died on January 24, 1681, in Hartford, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 77 years.” This line requires more research; this Elizabeth Gregory appears to have m. Richard Webb, q.v.

[57584] Ralph's obituary: "Bradley - Ralph Wesley Snow, 81, husband of Joan Rita (Ste. Marie) Snow, passed away suddenly July 22, 2015 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 15, 1933 in Old Town, the son of Philip Frederick and Vera Mae (White) Snow. A graduate of John Bapst High School, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Following his honorable discharge, he was the manager at General Aviation at Bangor International Airport, after which, he enjoyed his retirement. Ralph and Joan have developed many special friendships in their travels, through his passion for aviation and the many restaurants they frequented. He is survived by his 'favorite' wife of 59 years Joan of Bradley; four children Mary (Snow) Shorette and her husband Joseph of Bradley, Ralph P. Snow and his friend Janet Hinkie of West Monroe, LA, Diana Snow of Bradley, and Carlene (Snow) Bilodeau and her husband Gary of Dedham. He enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Christopher Shorette and his wife Sarah and their children Alexi and Griffin; Heather (Shorette) Graffam and her husband Thomas and their son Noah; Philip Snow, and Brody Bilodeau; brother-in-law Jaye A. McKenney of Lamoine and Punta Gorda, FL; nieces and nephews Mary J. (McKenney) Briggs and family of NH; Timothy J. McKenney and his wife Lynne and family Duncannon, PA; James "Andy" McKenney and his wife Tammy and their family of Dallas, TX; Cheryl A. McKenney of Sidney, ME; his cousin, Lois Ouellette, of The Villages, FL; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
