"The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA], 31 August 1961," p. 8: "Anderson Hollenbaugh, 92, passed away early Sunday evening after a lengthy illness. A retired farmer, he had lived in this community his entire life. Mr. Hollenbaugh celebrated his birthday on Thursday, the 24th. He is survived by his wife, a son Paul and a daughter, Miss Pearl Hollenbaugh R. N., Philadelphia. Miss Pearl has been home during her father's illness caring for both her parents as her mother, too, is in poor, health. Funeral will be on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Nickel Funeral Home in Loysville and burial in Evangelical Cemetery, Elliottsburg."
