[52477] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 14 January 1958, p. 7: "Harpswell, Jan. 13 - Funeral services for Mrs Marilyn Chipman, 29, wife of Lee Chipman, who died suddenly January 8 at her North Harpswell home, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Eliza Kellogg Church. The Rev. Harold R. Coleman and the Rev. George S. King officated. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Harpswell Center. She was born September 28, 1928 at Perham, the daughter of Olie and Lillian Helstrom Wardwell. She attended school at Perham and Washburn and was a graduate of Washburn High School in the class of 1946. Mrs. Chipman is survived by her husband; a son, Eric; her parents of Caribou; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude True and Mrs. Warren Rideout, both of Caribou, and Mrs. Otis Brown of North Harpswell; four brothers, Rodney and Calvin of Perham, Ervin of Caribou, and Darrell of Washburn; and several nieces and nephews."
