Find A Grave memorial 228288941 offers: "David served for 16 months as a private in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Militia. He served under Captain McCobb, Col. Enos, and Captain Olney, and participated in the Seige of Boston, the Battle of Bunker Hill; went to Quebec by the way of the Kennebec River, and the Battle of Princeton--- He received a pension for his service, and is recognized as a Patriot by the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution. His father, several of his brothers, and his father-in-law were also Revolutionary War Patriots. MARRIAGE: In 1783, David married Melicent How, the daughter of Ichabod and Sarah How.
CHILDREN: David and Melicent had ten children. David and family were included in Stackpole's History of Winthrop, and in FOSTER GENEALOGY published in 1899 by F. C. Pierce.

[58190] Ivan's obituary: "Ivan Roy Hatch, 78 Pastor Ivan Hatch of Scarborough, went to his heavenly home November 2, 2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. His passing was peaceful, having been surrounded by his family and loving caregivers for several days. Ivan, son of Kenneth and Mildred Hatch, was born on January 17, 1935 in West Boylston MA. Ivan graduated from Mexico High School in Mexico, ME in 1952, on the National Honor Society. He earned his BA from Barrington College of Barrington RI, and his Masters from Gordon Divinity School of Wenham MA. He married his Barrington College sweetheart Ginny in 1957. They shared 56 years of marriage and raised three sons. Ivan started his calling to the ministry in St John, New Brunswick as minister of Christian Education. In future years he served as a devoted pastor of churches in MA, ME and NH. His love for music, skiing, and basketball endeared him to many youth in the churches in which he served. He enjoyed painting to keep the church buildings in good repair. He was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, serving as an Elder and painting where needed. Ivan was predeceased by his mother and father of Exeter N.H. and brother Carl of PA. He is survived by his loving family: wife Ginny, son Timothy and wife Jean of PA, son Daniel and wife Linda of Saco, ME and son Mark and wife Jennifer of Scarborough, ME, eight grandchildren, twin brother Evan of VA, sister Shirley and brother in law George of MA and nieces and nephews."
