[28824] Edmund and Annis went to Wells in 1643 after arriving in Boston aboard the "Bevis" perhaps in or before 1638. The Rev. John Wheelright was among the passengers and Edmund belonged to his parish in Exeter (England) in 1630. Thomas and Mary Ann had five children. The 2 July 1860 census of Great Pond lists Thomas beside his brother Simeon and shows his household: Thomas (43, farmer), Mary A. (36), Charles H. (14), Mary E. (12), Thomas A. (10), Agnes (1 month) and two domestics and two farm laborers.
