With five decades of pediatric experience, Dr. Swarner has helped heal generations of children. He currently practices at Kinder Klinic, where he treats a variety of pediatric problems and oversees a staff of excellent nurses and pediatric nurse practitioners. His success can be attributed to having the right motivation, an altruistic attitude, and a love for children and newborns. Dr. Swarner specializes in neonatology and crisis care. Dr. Swarner pursued a career in pediatrics through the inspiration of his own pediatrician, who made a lasting impression on him. Dr. Swarner also serves as an associate clinical professor at East Tennessee State University, as well as a regional representative of the Tennessee Medical Association.
Aside from work, Dr. Swarner actively volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America. As a counselor for the organization, he advocates and leads youth activities and learning. He was recently honored with an Eagle Mentor Award from a child who is also one of Dr. Swarner's longtime patients. The award, which came to him as a surprise, was received at a private ceremony sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America.
