He was born April 28, 1944, in Bangor, the oldest son of 13 children to Clifford and Nettie (Archer) Curtis. A man of many hats, with life taking him in many directions ranging from fighting in the Vietnam was as a firefighter, digging clams, living in service of others through drug abuse counseling, and managing his own bottle redemption center. He enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, trapping, fishing, and sharing his wealth of random knowledge. Many listeners of 103.9 may remember him by his alias: Walter Brown. He was a long time member of the Lynde Lodge #174, AF & AM, and a member of the Anah Shriners. Warren is survived by his wife, Deborah Chase Curtis; children Rick Goodwin and wife, Lori of Levant, Stacey Curtis and partner, Debi Lamoine, Jill Curtis of Holden, and James Curtis and wife Lisa of Buxton; grandchildren, Devin Anna Matthew, Jazlynn, Joshua, Elizabeth, and Dalton; great-grandchildren, Addison, Rayla, and Aubree; as well as many nieces and nephews."

Olive and Hezekiah were married on 29 June 1863 on Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine. Olive and Hezekiah had eight children. They were: Samuel H. Weed was born about 1865; Dennis Weed was born about 1868; Charles Gray Weed was born in March 1871; Roland B. Weed was born about 1871; Hezekiah Weed was born about 1874; and George H. Weed was born on 01 February 1878; Walter Weed was born in April 1879; and Eva Weed was born in September 1884. All the children were born on Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine. Charles married Ella Sarabelle 'Ellie' Eaton on 14 October 1899. Ella and Charles had three children. They were: Gardiner Weed; Vivian O. Weed; and Marcella W. Weed was born on 11 February 1905.
