She retired from Barstow Marine Corps Logistics Base after 24 years and worked at the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Alberquerque, N.M. Survivors include her husband, Floyd; a son, Jason F. Traxler of Livermore; a daughter, Brenda Jones of Gresham, Ore.; two sisters, Dorothy Gottfried and Jane Frank, both of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren."

Thursday in his home. He had been ill for the last year. Mr. Peiffer was born in Mishawaka, March 14, 1880. He married Miss Charlotte J. Myers in Mishawaka, Dec. 10, 1908. Surviving are his widow: two sons, Kenyon B. Peiffer and Walter F. Peiffer, of Elkhart, Ind; a foster son, Richard McCalley, of Mishawaka, and three grandchildren, Jacqueline Peiffer and Owen and Charlotte McCalley. Mr. Peiffer was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Peiffer, of this city."
