He lived in Litchfield, Kennebec, Maine, United States in 1850 and West Gardiner, Kennebec, Maine, United States in 1860. He died on 1 September 1864, at the age of 77, and was buried in Howard Cemetery, Winslow, Kennebec, Maine, United States."

He married Dorcas Woodin in 1648 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. They had one [known] child during their marriage. He died on October 6, 1697, in Salisbury, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 80 years. Dorcas Woodin was born in 1620. . . . She died in Salisbury, Massachusetts."
