Burial will be in LaPlace Cemetery. Memorials: Cerro Gordo Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Buckingham was born in Macon County, daughter of Lewis and Phoebe Beery. She was a member of Cerro Gordo Church of the Brethren and a Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She married Noah Buckingham in 1908. He died in 1955. Surviving are sons, Herman of Lee-burg, Ind.; Myrlin of Monticello; daughter, Lois Roberts of Cerro Gordo; sisters, Hattie Hoots of Denver, Colo.; Phoebe Wine of Winina Lake, Ind.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death."
