[55921] Marguerite's obituary: "Belfast/Searsport - Marguerite 'Marge' Bradley Moody, 94, passed away Friday December 27, 2019 at Harbor Hill Center, Belfast Maine. She was born April 19, 1925 in Searsport to Ralph and Fannie (Nickerson) Bradley. She graduated from Searsport High School in 1943 and married her high school sweetheart Leroy F. 'Roy' Moody Sr. in 1945. Marge and Roy continued to make Searsport their home where they raised 2 boys and were very involved in the community. She was a lifelong member of the Searsport United Methodist Church and was involved in their womens fellowship group, the ZA Circle. Marge was also a member of the Searsport Lioness. She and Roy spent many hours helping prepare for church fairs, dinners, and many other activities. Once her boys were raised, Marge went to work for a number of years in the Searsport school lunch program. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Any visit to her house found you sitting around the table with a cup of tea or coffee and one of her many homemade treats. No one ever left hungry. Marge leaves behind her sons; Leroy F. 'Rod' Moody Jr. and wife Kathy of Windham, Dana G. Moody and wife Darci of Clifton. Grandchildren; Tracey Lydon and husband Chris of Cumberland Foreside, Patrick Moody and wife Sherma of Windham, Joshua Moody of Portland, and Dory Zayas and husband Alex of New York City. Great-grandchildren; Hayleigh and Adrian Moody of Windham, Blake Moody of Pittsfield and Stella Zayas of New York City, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marge was pre-deceased by her husband Leroy F. 'Roy' Moody Sr., daughter-in-law Kathleen Moody, sisters; Ethel Moody, Lucille Paul, Patricia Knox, and Ruth Taylor. The family wishes to extend special thanks and appreciation to niece Nancy and husband Dick Schroeder of Swanville for their wonderful care and attention, and Regina Seamans for her friendship. We also wish to acknowledge the caring staff at Harbor Hill in Belfast."
