It gives Joan's mother as Bertha de Laval (b. ca. 1149), dau. of Guy de Laval (sonof Guy I de Laval of Yorkshire, son of Hugh de Laval and Dameta _____). Another source states Gracia is daughter of William de Briwere and his wife Beatrice de Vaux.
