[1731] "Ancestral Roots... (Balt., 1992), p. 207: "Note: as printed in the past, Bela I and Andrew I, brothers and successive Kings of Hungary, were shown as sons of Ladislas I, King of Hungary, by Premyslava, dau. of St. Vladimir, based on Table I of Baumgarten. However, the chronology can now be shown to be in error for Premyslava, and Moriarty's The Plangagenet Ancestry, p. 86, shows the brothers to be children of Vasul, King of Poland, dead 1038, by an unknown wife. Vasul was the son of Mihaly (Michael), a regent in Poland. Isenburg (1976 ed.) confirms all this (Table 104, Europaische Stammtafeln) and shows Michael as bro. of Geza and son of Taksony, d. 972." http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cousin/html/p115.htm offers: "Béla I, Király Magyarország was per Turton the son of Ladislas "the Bald" of Hungary and his wife, Premislava of Kiev. He was per Theroff the son of Vaszoly of Duke of Northern Hungary and his wife Katun of the Comitopuli. ... He was born before 1014. He was the son of Vászoly, Herceg of Northern Hungary and Katun Kometopoulos. He sought refuge in Poland after his father, Vaszoly, offended his greatuncle King Stephen, circa 1037. He married Rixa, Królewna Polska, daughter of Mieszko II Lambert, Król Polska and Richeza von Bonngau, circa 1040; 2nd cousins. He married Königin von Ungarn Tuta von Formbach, daughter of Graf von Formbach Heinrich I "Hesso" von Formbach; His 2nd. He was recalled back to Hungary following the disastrous reigns of Peter and Samuel Aba between 1046 and 1047. He was was lord of one-third of Hungary in 1048. He succeeded his brother, Andrew, to the Hungarian throne in 1061. King of Hungary, between 1061 and 1063. He died in 1063." - this site states that Königin von Ungarn Tuta von Formbach (not Rixa) is mother of Sophia, Hercegnõ Magyarország. Cf. http://genealogy.euweb.cz/arpad/arpad1.html.

[46730] "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA] 22 December 1938," p. 1: "Clarence Herbert Swartz, a retired farmer, whose home is a mile south of Saville, committed suicide Monday at 9:30 a. m. at the home of a neighbor, Glenn Smith, where he had first gone into the house and after speaking to them a short time, went to their barn and in a small room or entry he shot himself in the head with a revolver which he had evidently hidden before leaving home. The County Coroner, Dr. J. E. Book, of Newport, who was summoned, after investigating, pronounced it a case of suicide, and said no inquest would be held. Mr. Swartz, who was aged 55 years, 5 months and 5 days, was a son of the late William T. and Mary Magdalene Swartz. He had been in ill health almost four years and worried over his failing health. He was a life-long member of the Reformed Church, at the time of death being a member of the Ickesburg Reformed Church, having held the offices of deacon, elder and treasurer, and was a director of the Ickesburg State Bank which closed its doors a number of years ago, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, New Bloomfield, and the Harrisburg Consistory. He was president of the Swartz reunion ever since its organization. Beside farming he was also engaged in the lumber business and his ill health caused retirement. His wife, Mrs. Ella Rice Swartz, died last May. Surviving him are his aged mother, and the following daughters and sons: Gladys, Mrs. George Moose, Andersonburg ; C. Harold, Loysville ; C. Leroy, Ickesburg ; Betty, Mrs. J. H. Snyder, R. N.; D. Jane and John William, at home, and three grandchildren." Clarence is son of William Theodore Swartz (1857-1922) & Mary Magdelene Swab (1862-1950).
