[53583] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], "Enfield - Martha L. Savage, 90, died from natural causes Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born July 1, 1930, in Enfield, the daughter of Ernest C. and Anna F. (Dyer) Jipson. Martha completed her education through the 8th grade. She married Fredrick Savage Sr. in 1959. Martha was a giving, loving, and caring person. She opened her home to many through the years so they would have a place to stay and call home. You could never leave her home without giving her a hug first. Martha was a loyal member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lincoln, since 1980. She helped in the kitchen and sometimes with crafts at Camp-Can-Do, up until she was 89. She worked for the town of Enfield for many years, until her retirement. Prior to that, she was a devoted housewife and mother. Martha is survived by her children, Mark Savage Sr. and his wife, Robin, of Enfield, Annmarie Mushero and her husband, Larry, of Mattawamkeag, John Savage Sr. and his wife, Susan, of Enfield, William Savage and his wife, Irene, of Lincoln, Michael Savage of Howland, Madeline Merrithew of Enfield, and Everette Savage of Florida; a very special granddaughter, Susan L. Savage, who cared for her over the past year and a half until her passing; special friends, Murial Stewart and Joan Mulligan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Fredrick Savage Sr.; sons, Herbert Savage and Fredrick Savage Jr.; her parents; and a sister, who passed at birth."
