Edward from an unverified file in http://www.wikitree.com in 2015 which states he m. Lucy Anna Coy and notes "Edward Bulkeley is the son of Peter Bulkeley and his wife Jane Allen." His surname is also seen Bulkley. See "The Bulkeley Family," The Rev. F. W. Chapman (Hartford, CT:The Case, Lockwood & Brainard Company, 1875), p. 38; "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield," Donald Lines Jacobus (Genealogical Publishing Company, 1930), vol. 1, p. 110. Find A Grave Memorial 80039861 offers: "Edward Bulkeley succeeded his father, Peter, as Minister from 1659-1696. His house still stands at 92 Sudbury Road. He had graduated from Harvard Divinity School and been ordained at Marshfield, MA in 1642. Edward served during the bloody King Philip's War of 1675. People said that he
delivered such fiery prayers that the Indians didn't dare attach his town, and indeed there was never any trouble here with the American natives. During his ministry, the second Meeting House was built on the same site as the first, we believe, only twice as big. The exact location of these two buildings has never been decided.
One argument is that they were located on top of the hill where it would have been closer to God and a look-out for any enemies approaching. The other argument is that they would never have lugged materials up that steep hill when they could have more easily built on ground level. There they would have had easier access in an emergency, more warmth in winter with the help of the sun from the east, south and west, and protection from the north winds with the high esker behind them. My own theory is that it was on the ground level because of the location of the burying ground and the first grave stones we see there today. In their traditional English manner, their dead were buried close to and around their churches, and seven or eight very early stones, before inscriptions were possible, are in a just right position to indicate where a building might have stood. On March 5, 1694, the town of Concord voted, 'Whereas the Rev. Pastor, Mr Edward Bulkeley, is under such infirmities of body by reason of great age, that he is not capable of attending the work of the ministry as in time past, being also sensible of the obligations the town is under to afford him a comfortable maintenance during the term of his natural life, that thereby the people may testifie their gratitude for his former services in the Gospel, they do hereby oblige the town to pay Mr. Bulkeley yearly, during his natural life, the sum of £30 in lieu of his former salary.' He accepted this provided he could preach or not, as he felt inclined. Edward was memorialized on side 2 of the 'Early Settlers at Green Harbor Monument' in the Winslow Cemetery in Marshfield, MA."

[3085] A Daniel Green was about age 18 in January, 1698 when Christian Remick of Kittery was his master. In 1704 his father deeded him the homestead with life reservation. He m. Sarah Knight 31 Oct 1706, but the next July he was accused by Mary Morgrage, "whose s. Danl. G. al. Morgrage was Edm. Geach's `prentiss boy' in 1717." Will 11 April - 16 May 1749 names wife Sarah and 4 of 6 children (born 1708-23) and granddaughter Lydia Green (not of age); two months later widow Sarah waived dower as son Daniel contracted to support her for life - Daniel died by 6 April 1750 when his brother Andrew represents that his brother Daniel's widow Sarah Cooper had put their father's will into Stephen Tobey's hands. - This information is from "Genealogical Dictionary of ME and NH", p. 285. IF CORRECT, this disproves that Daniel and Mary are our ancestors, given that their son Daniel was alive after 1749 whereas ours was killed in 1745 at Louisburg, N.S. Daniel Green (1679-1749?) is son of Richard Green of Kittery, Maine who m. (1) in July, 1669 Katherine, and (2) in 1687 Susanna.

Jacob Kroh (son of Henry Kroh and Anna Barbara Richard/Reichert) was born 12 Dec 1794 in Berks County, PA. He was Baptised at Zion's Blue Mountain Church, Strausstown, Berks County, Pennsylvania. . . . . Jacob Kroh (son of Henry Kroh and Anna Barbara Richard/Reichert) was born 12 Dec 1794 in Berks County, PA. He was Baptised at Zion's Blue Mountain Church, Strausstown, Berks County, Pennsylvania. . . . .He died 10 Apr 1856 in Tiffin, Ohio. He married (1) Sara Tice (daughter of John Tice and Elizabeth Kiesecker) on 20 Apr 1820 in Hagerstown, Maryland. After her death, he married (2) Margaret Mercer/McClure(b. 1814) on 15 Apr 1841 in Tiffin, Ohio. Jacob Kroh was born Dec. 12, 1794, and at the time of the burning of Washington* he concluded that he was old enough to aid his country, and accordingly, saddling his own horse, started out for the seat of war.
About 1827 he went with his family to Ohio, and was among the early settlers of Seneca County. He assisted in building the first German Reformed Church, at Tiffin, in that county, and subsequently was Treasurer and Secretary of the Heidelburg College established there. He was also Treasurer of the American Bible Society, which place he was filling at the time of his death. In addition to this he served as Justice of the Peace many years, and held various other township offices. Politically, he was an old-line Democrat, and maintained his principles with all the natural strength of his character. Jacob Kroh was twice married and the father of seventeen children, eleven of whom were living at the time of his death. He died in Seneca County, Ohio, April 10, 1856, and his wife Sara Tice who was born Oct. 18, 1810, preceded her husband to the silent land, her death taking place Sept. 6, 1838. Jacob Kroh started in life with a capital of a few hundred dollars, but at the time of his decease was one of the wealthiest men of Seneca County. He gave to each of his children a liberal education, and some of them occupied themselves afterward as teachers. They were also prominent and worthy citizens, the result of their careful home training, and their natural inheritance of principles of uprightness and strict integrity.
*The Burning of Washington was a battle that took place on August 24, 1814, during the War of 1812 between the British Empire and the United States of America. The British Army occupied Washington, D.C. and set fire to many public buildings following the American defeat at the Battle of Bladensburg. The facilities of the U.S. government, including the White House and U.S. Capitol, were largely destroyed.
[55449] Richard is said to be son of Daniel Merritt II (1727-1816) & Mary Gowell (17261795).

An Ancestry.com posting from "Tudor Place":
Henry Wyatt was a young cadet of the Lancastrian house, the youngest son of a Yorkshire squire of Southange in Yorkshire. In 1483 he became involved, as a stout Lancastrian in the Duke of Buckingham's unsuccessful revolt in the West Country in favour of Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond, who was then in Brittany awaiting possible developments. In consequence Henry Wyatt was imprisoned in the Tower during the two years of the reign of Richard III, on whose orders he is said to have been tortured. He was only released on the death of King Richard and the accession of Henry VII. When the Standard of the fugitive Earl floated on the field of Bosworth, Wyatt found means to join it. When the Usurper had fallen on Bosworth field, one of the first acts of Henry VII was to liberate Henry and raise him from the private gentleman to the highest honours at Court. In 1485 he was rewarded by grant of "Keeper", later to "Constable" for life of Norwich Castle. 1490 Master of the King's Jewels for 34 years. 1488 Controller of the Mint, assisted with the reorganisation of the Mint and Coinage.
He married Anne Skinner, late in life, in 1502. He bought Allington Castle from the trustees of Robert Gainsford in 1292. The castle was in bad repair, and Henry Wyatt and his son made extensive alterations. They put in large Tudor windows, erected a fine porch, a ladies bower, a new fire place , a long gallery, a new kitchen and a new staircase. Camden ascribes the credit of these alterations to Thomas Wyatt, but most of them seem to have been carried out by his father.
1492 Esquire-of-the-Body, King's select Bodyguard. He sold Hall in the village Solhange (South Haigh or Upper Haigh) which he had acquired through his marriage to Margaret, daughter and heiress of Richard Bailiff of Barnsley, and purchased Allington Castle and restored it. Henry VIII visited him there in 1527, as did Cardinal Wolsey.
1491 Joint Executor of Henry VII's will. 1494 Governor of the Castle of Carlisle to hold the border against the Scots 1513 -1515, then ransomed. 1500 Commissioner of the Peace for South East England. 1504 Was one of four who formed committee of the Privy Council to raise money for the King by the sale of offices, privileges and pardons.
Henry VII had died at the age of 52. He was succeeded by Prince Henry (VIII) to who Henry Wyatt had been guardian for some years. Henry Wyatt created Knight of the Bath at the Coronation 23 Jul 1509. Was one of the signatories for England of the Treaty of Scotland.
Henry applied for a new grant of Arms in Jan 1507/8. The grant by Garter was made on the grounds simply that he was descended form the House of Blood and name of the Wyatts' He was a privy councillor and may not have been called upon by Garter to produce a pedigree any more than his acquaintances Cardinal Wolsey or Thomas Cromwell when they applied for Armorial Bearings which they had not inherited. In the Rolls of Roger Twysden the pedigree shows five generations back to an Adam Wyot, who lived in the middle of the 14 Century in Yorkshire.
In 1512 he was appointed joint constable of Norwich Castle with Sir Thomas Boleyn, (father of Anne Boleyn). In 1513 Wyatt conducted Suffolk from France to the Tower where he was executed by Henry VIII. Sir Henry was made Knight Banneret for his services at the Battle of Spurs in 1515, and was present at the Field of the Cloth of Gold.
As Treasurer of the King's Chamber raised and sent £20,000 to King's Army on the Scottish Border in 1522. About 1526, Henry Wyatt had official lodgings in the Royal Palace as member of the Select Body of the Privy Council to hear complaints of the King's subjects.
When lesser monasteries were dissolved Wyatt obtained lands and tenements in Essex and land in Milton (near Faversham in Kent) where he established the "Henry Wyatt Chantry".
Resigned posts of Treasurer of the King's Chamber and the Royal Mint in 1528.
Henry Wyatt died at Allington Castle in Nov 1536 nearly 80 years old and was buried at Milton, Gravesend.
